ALERT - the 3.5 Yelp rating for The Dunes House is wrong. This place should be about 4.5 stars - and Google has it correct at 4.4 stars. We spilt a hamburger that was very flavorful without any condiments. We traded the fries for fruit and we split an order of chips and salsa. We saved our calories for drinks. This is always on my list when I visit Hilton Head. The fish tacos are my favorite but everything I have tried has been great. (Try the queso!) The drinks are top noch as well!
We had lunch there off of the beach. The food was great. I had the fish tacos and they were great!
This was a great place for lunch. The Tiger Paw slushy drink was delicious. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was very good as was the Ahi tuna wrap. Chips and salsa were as expected. Everyone is happy here, sitting on the beach, having a good sandwich, some chips and a drink. We went back a couple times for lunch and would absolutely go again.
Everything was amazing!! The nicest service, amazing drinks and the food was phenomenal. The fish was cooked to perfection! Will definitely return.
We ate here at lunch 2 days while at beach and service was great and food was good. Drinks are good, though a little pricey. We definitely recommend for a quick bite.
We arrived yesterday. I ordered a brat with the fixings. I got food poisoning. A very bad evening last night and today.

There are many things in life that are forgettable. This meal was one of them. I got the mahi-mahi Sammy. And for 15 bucks, it was probably the most mediocre meal I've had in a long time. I wish I stayed in for cereal. The fruit along side the meal wasn't fresh or high quality either. The 4 stars this place receives are generous. I recommend literally anywhere else.
