Surprisingly good! Fish tacos are great and come with chips & fresh salsa! Fish sandwich is good too but only has the option of bagged chips or fruit as side. The cocktails are excellent & boozy! Great value for $$ for a beachside spot! FYI 10% service fee is included on to go orders. Ok by me but didn't realize it when tipping. The servers deserve it - just something to be aware of.
Beach front dining. Good food and service. Basic menu with nothing fancy. Burgers and kids hot dogs were basic but very good. Would return!
Fun evening at the Dunes house! The Food was Great, and the crowd was having a great time listening to the music! This little ocean from eatery might be the best kept secret on HHI!
Snacks, drinks, and a beach view at Palmetto Dunes? Can't beat it. Came here and enjoyed a quesadilla and a frozen drink while staying in Palmetto Dunes. Can't wait to come back.
Their Mahi Mahi sandwich is extremely good. Service was very attentive. What else should I say so that this can be considered a review? Weather was sunny but a little cold; everyone else had different stuff. Burger gets a , chicken wrap was , and so was the brat. Have a nice day :)

We recently (today) ordered a very late lunch after waiting 20 minutes for a table. ALL our food was cold, requiring NO cooking! However, we waited AT LEAST 45 minutes for our food, while people around us were being served. Our big mistake was not leaving when it became apparent something was amiss; however, we did wait, so took our orders with us. Took my wife and myself for lunch while walking on the beach. We were curious with the limited menu, but the food was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and laid back looking out onto the beach. Good place to grab lunch if you want to relax near the beach. The waitresses were very attentive and quick to make sure everything is going well.
Had an awesome time at the Dunes House while visiting Hilton Head. They take safety seriously. Between every customer they wipe down the tables and chairs on the outdoor patio. Friendly, attentive service. We started off with a few drinks - awesome frozen drink menu!! Yes!!! We ordered some fabulous chicken nachos! Really, they were sooo good. Very tender chicken. We also had the fish tacos which were a bit hit! Gosh how i wish we were back at the Dunes House!! Will definitely be back!
