Read the contract before you sign it. There's a lot of hidden fees that they will charge you. When you go back and asked them questions about the charges they will turn around tell you. Oh you signed the contract. It's only $120 money doesn't matter but they are not honest with the customers

i experienced the edge for the tanning booth. you can't get one anywhere else that low fee and it is local. it sucks that they don't offer summer memberships or let you put your membership on hold unless it's medical. it's cool that on friday you can take a friend or family member for free. they are way less pricier than many gyms as far as the monthly payment goes however.

READ CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING UP. Signed up in the fall and tried canceling it 4 months later because I started going to a new gym. When I try to cancel they tell me I need to keep it for a year or pay off the rest of the balance. Funny, you'd think they would tell you something like that when you sign up. If you try to freeze you're account they charge you even more. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM

Unfortunately I have recently needed to cancel my membership at this gym. I have not cancelled my membership in malice against this gym but simply because I no longer live near a club. I spoke to an employee at my club at the end of September and they advised me to call and cancel after my September bill went through. I did this and was informed that it was too late to cancel for that month, despite being told that this was what I should do. They insisted I pay for another month despite being unable to attend the club. This... read more

The business office is very poorly ran. I went in and applied for a freeze on my membership on October 5th. On October 26 I was still billed for the first month of my freeze. I called and asked that it either be refunded or credited. The owner refused, saying she had less than 10 days and they needed more time for it to be added. I went in and got a copy, she said she didn't get it in the computer in time, not exactly my problem. I gave them one more chance to refund or credit my account. No deal. I have so many complaints I don't know where to start. First and foremost, the challenge is the biggest scam going. I have done it twice and twice I have had completely ineffective team captains. During the first challenge, my captain blew me off twice to have dinner with his girlfriend and then just didn't show up for an appointment. The second time my team captain said he would devise a meal plan for me and never did. Neither one of the captains ever emailed or texted to see how I was doing. After going to the gym for the past few years, I can honestly say that I won't go back. There is a lack of loyalty and there is way too much turnover. No one knows anything and I the workers are less than honest. It is clearly a sell, sell, sell mentality there. Customer service is lousy. Workers are too busy looking at their phones. Over the years I kept my expectations reasonable and accepted the service for what it was but over the past several months things have really gone downhill. I love this gym, but lately it is going downhill. The machines are constantly broken. The fun part is, they are never clearly labeled as broken.. So you need to get on it to figure it out. That isn't so fun on a stair master. The female staff is almost comical. About 90% of them do not say hello, do not smile, but have no problem staring at you from across the gym with a super impressive RBF. IMPOSSIBLE to get out of this contract!!! Don't do it, especially if you are thinking of moving. Don't listen to a word any of the recruiters say unless it's in writing. I travel for work and specifically asked if I would be able to cancel my membership. The person said, yeah, no problem. I moved in May and here it is months later...even though I submitted the correct paper work..I was charged $21.26 and $82.52 all in the month of July!
