I belong to the Deptford NJ Club. Edge Fitness Club has great equipment and is clean. However it is extremely overcrowded and the only time I could get the workout in that I wanted is if I went after 9:00PM or before 5:00AM. They have extremely oversold the membership to the amount of equipment they have available. Hello, I joined the Edge in Cherry Hill, NJ in April/May of 2019. The number on my key chain card is 15866545. I have been to the gym a total of 2 times, and the last times was in April/May. I have called to cancel my membership a number of times to no avail. I had an injury to my shoulder that just put me in a different place with regards to working out at a gym like The Edge. The only reason I don't give this gym one star is because of my personal trainer. He is a great motivator. However, when I signed up for the Edge Challenge, the person whom I spoke to (I won't mention his name) was not very transparent about the cancellation procedures. Even though I made it clear to him that I was only able to commit for 2 months. As a result, they no longer have my trust.

I would like to provide some constructive feedback regarding the trainers at the Edge. I am not speaking directly to a manager because I would prefer to not call out the trainer with the hope that the person simply was having a bad day. I should have called out the trainer, but I was a little surprised that they made the facial expression they did. Super misleading about the cancellation process (they make you go through their credit company which will not allow you to cancel if not more than 30 days from next billing cycle). Will also force you into the more expensive package without informing you of the cheaper option (only difference is you don't get to use their disgusting tanning area). I can't put zero stars. The Greenwich one smells bad, people it's rude. And edge fitness clubs makes you hard when you want to cancel the membership. You want to cancel in the membership in the gym , they tell you to call to a phone number or send and email . You call they don't answer . They don't reply emails . This is the worst gym ever! I signed up three years ago because I attend college in New Haven,Ct and when I decided to cancel my membership because I moved back home after graduation. They wanted me to show proof of residency which I provided my New Jersey driver's license which they claim is insufficient. I was sent to ABC financial who then claimed they help and then sent me to Swift Funds Financial (SCAM) who then charged me $300 without authorization.

You can not cancel your membership easily. They asked lots of documents. And once you sent a proof about your moving they don't accept them. Also it is taking more than 30 days. That's mean they will charge one more month to you.
