It's 4am i am currently waiting for about an hour for the gym to open, sucks that i wasted my time and gas to get here early and our money cant be respected to at least have a notice that they'd open late. So do i have to hope some days i can access my gym within the hours they said they'd be open? or should i be a sensible person with half of a mind and cancel here and get a membership somewhere else

It is extremely rare for the club to not open on time. If there are issues that would prevent this, we do alert members via email and social media, unless it is truly a last minute emergency situation. We appreciate your patience.

this place has the most incompetent people working my daughter moved away august of 2023 i called and canceled her membership im still getting billed called 5 TIMES GOT A DUMBER person each time now i called consumer protection

GOTO PLANET FITNESS. I joined this gym intending to work with a personal trainer. I meet with Louis Rodriguez, the person in charge of the personal training department, and signed up. I had told him I wouldn't be able to start for another 6 weeks so we scheduled my first 2 appointments and decided we would do the rest when we got closer to that actual beginning of the personal training. My Sister and I are regulars of this gym but is about to reconsider due to lack of front desk being on it in regard to customer service. I wanted to purchase a drink and the front desk clerk just walks away and talks to her co workers. No awareness. And this is after handling another customer who took up a huge amount of time. This edge is probably the worst when it comes to customer service. The girls are constantly flirting or on their phones. The equipment is always broken and when I reported this problem to a member , he just said "okay" and went back to texting on his phone and then theirs this girl who is always sitting on the counter top in front of the check in desk, I'm not even sure if she works there. Overall, any other location is better!

I can't wait for the year to be up since I signed! I hate this gym; I dread coming here each morning. I will be going back to InShape where I was so much happier! Customer service sucks the manager of the baby room(hamden) is a bitch and I just don't like it here.

I am sharing my review as I just had a similar experience as Nicole did. I tried cancelling months ago, they refused to honor my cancellation. On my fifth call over the past three months I finally got the district manager on the phone, only for him to berate me, when I was the one in fact who took the initiative to reach out for help since May. Unless you see yourself going to this gym for the rest of your life, do not sign up. They have extremely poor membership management options and will not tell you how to cancel. Afte... read more

When registering to join the gym staff and managers are attentive and customer service is superb. However when you try to cancel you membership, courtesy goes out the door. No one will answer or return your calls and you will be rudely informed that they are short staffed. They are ill-formed and will tell you anything to get you off the phone. The only communication you will receive is from foreign agents and automated emails. Even after you cancel they will continue to charge you and will refuse to honor a refund. Worst... read more

The Manchester Connecticut club blasts the music at an unbearable level. Most of it is rap and hip hop. Not everybody likes this music. Its even louder in the locker room. When I asked the front desk staff why they play the music so loud and asked them to at least turn it down. They told me that it was the corporate decision to play this music and at very loud volume which made no sense to me. They should leave it up to individuals members to play their own music using their ear buds instead of imposing their own music tast... read more
