When I heard there was an Edge Fitness opening in Manchester I was very excited. I had many friends who were members of the other Edge facilities in Connecticut and raved about them, so I couldn't wait to see what all the hype was about. I had been a member of LA Fitness and was very dissatisfied but there were no other good gyms in the area...that is until The Edge opened up. I've been going to various local gyms for about 25 years, and this place blows them all away. Tons of strength and cardio equipment. And lots of things that other gyms don't have...a turf area, sled, TRX, kettlebells, foam rollers, a cardio cinema. Plus, it's clean, has nice shower facilities and lockers with built in locks. Wish I had found this place sooner!

Great facility. Terrible staff organization. I know this location just opened, but the lack of organization is really obvious. Awesome equipment, everything is new and bright. The huge fans on the ceiling are my favorite aspect. The bad part is most staff know nothing about their gym, like the tanning machine, making smoothies, charging correctly for purchases. Great club, equipment and staff, but be careful for the ratcheting up of pricing on all of the extra amenities and use of other training rooms which are not being policed so there's really no need to buy an upgraded membership. Go with the basic membership and avoid the bait and switch marketing.
Wow...what an incredible new gym!! I like this gym so much that I joined a couple of days ago while still a member at LA. I will continue to keep the other membership when traveling out of state. However, when I'm local...The Edge is my gym of choice. I love the layout....big, open, and full of energy. They have a very large free weight area with free weight machines too. Although The Edge hasn't been open long I'm very happy with switching over to them from Cardio Express. They have a ridiculously vast range of training equipment most gyms don't have such as dumbbells up to 120Lbs, a turf area for sprints & weight sled drives, and a sauna. Hydro therapy is also available to premium members ($20 a month) which is amazing for me before or after a workout to loosen up a bit. The gym is brightly lit and upbeat. I have been a member for the better part of a decade. Last week they saddled me with a hidden 30 dollar fee. I tried talking to the front desk the. the manager but they were uninterested in helping solve the issue. they have completing alienated a loyal long time member over 30 dollar. What a great buissness model

This gym has declined a lot. Now charging for things that used to be free and cutting corners everywhere
