I think the... (Verified Renter) I think the # of dogs outnumbers the humans. Seriously, it is starting to smell like animals. The dog poop area outside should be tested for health reasons. I get woken every day at 6am from dogs barking. Finally, it is so loud on the corner of Morrison and Barkley downs that it is not livable for extended periods.

As previously mentioned,... (Verified Renter) As previously mentioned, the parking and noise factor are serious drawbacks. The people / staff are WONDERFUL, as is the location. The actual apartments are nice, too.
I know it's... (Verified Renter) I know it's early days and I have only lived in the community a few days but I would totally recommend the Encore. It's a great place to live and I love that the staff are very attentive to residents needs. Ron gave me a call on Sunday to ensure I was satisfied with the repair carried out (I love Ron ! Very courteous and all round stand up guy!!! )
Ashley was wonderful... (Verified Renter) Ashley was wonderful and patient with all of my questions. She explained the benefits and greeted tenants by name. I felt everyone there was happy and willing to tell us how much they loved living there.
A place to call home I moved to Charlotte, NC from Philadelphia exactly one year ago. When arriving to Charlotte I rented at a property nearby, which I regret. Amazing!!! I cannot say enough good things about this complex. I had been previously living in a near by complex for over 6 years. After the 5th management change, I was ready for a change. I was looking for a similar building, which in the apartment world would be hard to find, not a frame structure but all concrete. I found this at The Encore. Only area of... (Verified Renter) Only area of foreseeable improvement is closing off the Barclay Downs side fence on both sides to be contained for dogs & some people who act like animals (myself included).
