My boyfriend and I made a reservation for our dog to stay at the pet spot a month before we needed to board him. We never received a confirmation so we called the night before to confirm the reservation and make sure we had all the required vaccines. Warning!! I purchased a Groupon for this location for my miniature poodle who has stayed in several different boarding facilities. As soon as we brought him back from The Pet Spot, he contracted "kennel cough." It cost my husband and I more money at the vet then it did to board him. Please be careful at this location.
It's unfortunate that The Pet Spot does not accept Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes. My little gal is the sweetest most gentle dog I have ever met and to see animal businesses discriminating makes me very sad. She loves everyone and every dog. I kenneled my two dogs there for two nights and gave specific feeding instructions to feed them separately as one of my dogs can be food aggressive. Upon picking them up, I was told that the one dog was allowed to eat the other's food on one occasion. This had to be a blatant lie. My dog's stomach was hard, bloated, and distended as if he had eaten an entire container of food. He puked immediately upon getting into the car.
