My dog got C. dif (very severe diarrhea) while being boarded at the pet spot. I boarded Macy here for a week while on vacation. She was in a “private villa” and did not do any daycare activities, as she is older and just likes to sleep. She was not supposed to have contact with other dogs. When I picked her up, her bottom had poop smears on it and her bed was covered in poop. I could tell she had been rubbing herself on it to try to get it clean. First, it was not made clear that a Feline Leukemia vaccination was NOT needed for an indoor cat, so I paid $90 to have both cats vaccinated for this and then was told when the paperwork was sent that it wasn't necessary. This might have been acceptable....a mix up in communication...but the staff was very rude about it to make matters worse. Next the dates were off on my reservation and needed adjustment. We boarded our dogs Molly and Zoey at the pet spot while on our honeymoon. After picking the dogs up and brining them home, we noticed Zoey had lost 10-15 pounds during their 2 week stay. We called the Pet Spot several times during our trip to check on the girls and were told that they were both doing great, eating well, etc. We have also noticed that neither dog is acting quite right since being home. Terrible Terrible Terrible I DO NOT recommend this business they r hateful and do not treat your pets the way you want them treated I will NEVER go back again and neither will y family or friends
They provided great kennel care for my Shepard but I was disappointed that I paid $35 for a bath and she came home smelling like dog poop. I wanted the grooming so she wouldn't come home smelling like a kennel but I found out that they do dog the grooming the night before they are picked up, which defeats the purpose.
