I moved my mother to The Pines in September 2021 from a nursing home in Worthing. Six weeks later, she could not be happier. Her medical, emotional and practical needs are all fully met. The staff are warm and super-efficient. They are kind to Mum, other residents and me, as a concerned daughter. Truly superb standard of care.

All staff, regardless of role, have been consistently kind, polite and professional in their manner. Mum has been treated with the utmost care and respect and for this, we as a family are very grateful.

The Pines is a special nursing home. As a family, we are so grateful to the manager and all the staff, nurses, carers, events organisers, cooks and cleaners who make this nursing home such a wonderful home. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The care and nursing are exceptional.

My mother has been a resident for nine months. To begin with, my family and I knew she would resist being there. It’s taken the whole nine months for her to adjust, we’re very happy to say, she has settled in now. Agrees that the staff are kind, helpful and caring.

The Pines Care Home supported my father with care and consideration. He moved, aged 96, in March, following a fall and broken hip, and also with lung cancer, after determinedly living independently in his own flat. Although he recognised the need for greater care and support this was a major change, and the staff could not have been more caring in helping him make the transition. My mum came to The Pines Care Home for what we thought would be a short stay, as she had been in hospital and was very poorly and needed 24-hour care. She stayed 14 months. In that time she was excellently cared for by the wonderful staff. They are all so friendly, helpful, dedicated and most of all, caring. I can’t thank them enough for looking after my mum during these difficult times and I would highly recommend The Pines to anyone. They were brilliant. Thank you so much.

I cannot recommend this wonderful care home enough. The kindness, consideration, and dignity shown to their residents is remarkable. I've never felt so welcomed, respected, and looked after by a care home. My grandfather, who recently passed, came to The Pines in a very vulnerable position and they showed the utmost compassion and support to him right up until the end of his life. The residents are always happy, clean and healthy. The staff are amazing! They care extremely well, and there are always activities, well planned out and appropriate to each client's needs. The home is always spotless and well-staffed. The care here is above and beyond what I expected to find, and they provide a wonderful home.

The management and staff at The Pines treated me and more importantly, my mother, with top-quality care, understanding, professionalism and most of all, love. I would not hesitate to recommend, in the highest terms, The Pines, to look after the most cherished thing in our lives, our Mum.
