Even with the isolation, the food is still good. The staff are pretty good and they really care for the residents. We get email communications with virus updates. We chose this community because of activities offered. My loved one is very active and enjoys moment and engagement. They offer live music with dancing, bowling, a swimming pool, and happy hour. My advice to families is to pay attention and be present.
My 1st impression was good however when we returned with my mother and had lunch it was a real disappointment. The fod was horrible (who can screw up a grilled cheese?)and the service was poor. The corridors smelled like cigarette smoke.The apartments weren't too bad but not good enough for my mom. Considering the cost I have seen nicer. The greeting staff and others were very nice. I feel the residents were much older than what we are looking for.
Quiet peaceful and very friendly staff and people around. Nice clean easy accessible rooms either studio or one-bedroom. Have a memory ward which to move into. Halls were very open and spacious second-floor offered really cute salon friendly staff bingo right next-door and a lecture hall/activity church all right there. Clean facility with a lot of activities happening during the time I was there touring. The residents seemed happy and well cared for and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I would Recommend for your parent(s) I do like the Preserve for my parents. They do have concerns about the old carpeting but they just painted! Looks better.They are also complaining about the dining experience as they are under staffed. The staff that is there is young,(probably 1st timers) in the work force with no customer service skills. Food is good with a variety of menus.

The food at the preserve I eat breakfast and dinner and I enjoy the food very much. Considering they cook for over 200 people it is amazing how they vary the meals to appeal to almost everyone. The excellent kitchen staff varies the food so we do not have the same food every day. They make sure we are offered vegetables, soups, and pies, cakes cookies, puddings and, of course ice cream.
Peace of Mind is Priceless My dad has been very happy with our selection of the Preserve. He feels comfortably at home and finds the service staff friendly and kind. He enjoys the food and hails it as well prepared and tasty. I appreciate the professionalism, courteousness, and willingness of the leasing and management staff ; they exercised flexibility in tailoring a package that suits my dad's requirements. Was the best place in Broward county. Great place for Mom. Very caring and attentive. Great food and clean and well organized.
