The majority of the staff at The Preserve at Palm Aire are very friendly and kind. It's the staff in the dining room that are not very kind or friendly. The servers I have had trouble with and their bad attitude, and then how long they take to serve the meals. All in all, I would recommend The Preserve at Palm Aire. It's overall a very good operation.
My loved one is currently a resident at The Preserve at Palm-Aire and the experience has been okay/fair so far. They tell you anything to get you in there. The food is not the best and they are short staffed in the dining room. The meals need help for sure! Everyone complains about the food. They are so short staffed that one night they closed the restaurant The housekeeping is disconnected and not quality. However, this facility is close to my home so my loved one is staying here.

I am very happy living here. With 30 acres and lots of mature trees, 3 ponds with fountains, fully equipped apartments, and good food. Also very friendly personnel. Plus lots of activities, I really enjoy it here. Plus, none of the hectic and noise you have in Dade or Broward. If you are looking for peace and quiet and lots of nature, then definitely yes. Transportation to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, and outings is provided.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The apartments are nice. The residents are diverse and friendly. There are actually a good number of men. The price is reasonable for what you get. My mother is happy there, and she has made many friends. She has had no complaints.
We had an incident when housekeeping was supposed to come in while my mom was in the hospital & they didn't - the manager of housekeeping called me to apologize & sent crew in within an hour. My family & I have found the staff to be amazing. In fact, my son comments on that all the time. Our family has had an excellent experience with The Preserve at Palm-Aire. We love the level of customer service they have as well as their attention to detail. We had visited many other properties and this community by far was the best one. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend The Preserve at Palm-Aire to other families. I looked at 7 places before choosing a facility to live in. I love it here. I like the fact that they have a board of residents and we have meting every month and are able to voice our complaints or ideas and praises. I think that is wonderful. The staff here are just marvelous. I cannot say enough good things about them. The administrative staff are great as well. The food is not that great and small portions, and staff (front desk) is useless. They know nothing and are not helpful at all. Other than that everything has been great. They can improve by, getting better food, serving bigger portions and hiring more knowledgeable staff.
As far as suggestions for improvement, a couple of things: 1. Maintenance for example, there are so many little things that need to be fixed or for the safety of the residents they don't address. 2. Food is not good in restaurant that is included in my mom's monthly rent. So the added expense of having to cook meals is an expense not expected. The safety thing is what is most concerning.
