We had an incident when housekeeping was supposed to come in while my mom was in the hospital & they didn't - the manager of housekeeping called me to apologize & sent crew in within an hour. My family & I have found the staff to be amazing. In fact, my son comments on that all the time. Our family has had an excellent experience with The Preserve at Palm-Aire. We love the level of customer service they have as well as their attention to detail. I looked at 7 places before choosing a facility to live in. I love it here. I like the fact that they have a board of residents and we have meting every month and are able to voice our complaints or ideas and praises. I think that is wonderful. The staff here are just marvelous. I cannot say enough good things about them. The administrative staff are great as well. The food is not that great and small portions, and staff (front desk) is useless. They know nothing and are not helpful at all. Other than that everything has been great. They can improve by, getting better food, serving bigger portions and hiring more knowledgeable staff.
As far as suggestions for improvement, a couple of things: 1. Maintenance for example, there are so many little things that need to be fixed or for the safety of the residents they don't address. 2. Food is not good in restaurant that is included in my mom's monthly rent. So the added expense of having to cook meals is an expense not expected. The safety thing is what is most concerning. Extremely friendly staff. Lots of engagement options for the residents to participant in. Inside court facility could use a little improvement, but doesn't effect the overall rating of the community.

I would recommend you check out the community to see if it is the right fit for your loved one. My loved one is happy with the care they are receiving. The staff have been very pleasant and helpful when the family calls. The family was told there would be transportation, and they don't have transportation to accommodate a wheelchair. I'm shocked the community of this size doesn't have the transportation to accommodate the residents in wheelchairs.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff were very nice it was definitely a good option for us, however at the time they did not have a two bedroom apartment and it just felt a little more institutional and a little to big for our loved one

This has been an excellent experience for the family and our loved one so far. The staff communication with the family has been wonderful. They have been quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had about our loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents and the community has been able to accommodate dietary restrictions for our loved one, as well. This is a community I would recommend to others for their loved ones.
