My loved one currently resides at The Shores at Clearlake. The food quality is fair. The housekeeping and the staff are great. The quality of care and the activities are great, also. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.
We toured with The Shores at Clearlake and the tour was fine. We were met at the appointed time. And we were not hurried through the facility. Questions were answered as we toured. We didn't have any "we will get back with an answer".
This is a wonderful community. I would highly recommend the community. My loved one passed before being able to move in.
I like that this facility is newer and in good shape. I also like that my mom participates in the activities and has made friends. I have and will continue to recommend this facility to friends and family.
The Shores at Clearlake is an absolutely beautiful facility that has been newly renovated. This was our second choice. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. I really liked that the take their memory care residents on outings. I liked this facility so much and it made it very hard for us to make a decision.
Our tour at The Shores at Clearlake was really good. They seemed equivalent to the place we chose and are happy with. Location was the determining factor for our decision.
The new director, [name removed], has made a world of difference in this facility. My mom was the third resident to come into the facility when it was first built 4 years ago. The place went down hill real fast shortly thereafter but turned around once the new management company and director arrived. The food has improved. I have toured this community and love it - the employees are always upbeat and smiling. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting.
We had a virtual visit at The Shores at Clearlake, and I didn’t particularly like the person who gave the tour. The facility setup was very odd, and I didn't like the rooms. They felt very cramped and old. Also, there were no in-room bathrooms. They were all shared, which was a hard no for us.
