nothing special about the food, setting, service or prices
The steaks were fatty and not of good quality. The restaurant was cold, everyone had on their jackets. This was for my anniversary, and was a dissapointnent
We had very bad experience . We didn't have a designated server . Our server didn't offer what was special of the day. Wine lists weren't given . My husband has to find a waiter to get a wine list and he got it at the end of his meal. No one checked on us to see if we need anything . The food was small plates and very pricey. We spent almost a $100 and we weren't full.
Customers for years. Worst experience ever. Had reservation.Arrived on time. No tables ready. Greeted by owner, who left us. Waited 20 minutes. Seated ourselves. Waited 15 minutes. Asked busboy to find our waiter, bread, water and menus. Waiter apologized, dropped off menus and left. Water with cold, stale bread arrived. Waited 10 minutes, got another busboy to find waiter. EXTREMELY LOUD. VERY HARD TO HEAR MY PARTY. SLOW SERVICE.
I do not recommend this restaurant
We love Thom Thom but the waiter Matt is not the best. His interaction with customers needs lots of work. He does not come with the attitude of pleasing the customer. His very rough and abrasive. If we continue to dine at Thom Thom and he is our waiter we will stop coming as often. We love Danny and will be back but the dining experience starts with the staff and if I were Danny I would think about making a change with Matt.
When we arrived at the restaurant it was not very busy. After we were seated we noticed that the table was uneven. We asked if we could move to another table and they said that every table was reserved. 45 minutes later the place was still not very crowded and there were many tables still empty. The service was terrible. The bus boy was better than the server. The server never came over to see how we were doing or check on us. Good thing the food was good because the service was very bad.
Food was good we had a sesame crusted tuna and the Chilean sea bass. Food was good but not good enough for us to take the 15 minute drive back. Ambiance is zero. And the $12 martini left much to be desired. Overpriced all around
