This restaurant is a little run-down and the service was very slow. The food was good but we will not be returning any time soon
Made reservations for 8:30 didn't see it down until 9:45. Waitress brought dessert before coffee and our dinners came out at all different times. The sushi was great but the service was poor.
I have eatten atThom Thom in the past. This time service was terrible to say the least. I will not return.
The food was mediocre. Warm naan bread to start with three dips. Some of the bread was burnt. Lobster Mac and cheese was watery and bland but the lobster was fresh. Osso bucco had a wretched taste to it, no vegetables served with it. Grilled romaine salad was overcooked and the glaze dressing was sparse when a requested side came out it was thick and tar like looking. Two diners ordere sushi and said it was great, it looked fresh and colorful. All the plates haf a nice nice presentation.
Although the food and service was great,the service was very slow. We attribute the slowness to the fact that we were there on a Monday night and the dining room and kitchen were probably not sufficiently staffed. A meal that should have taken a little over an hour was over two hours.
We have been to Thom Thom quite a few times over the years,we used to really like the place but, sorry to say, I doubt we will return. The food used to be really good with good service and atmosphere. But the last few times we received overcooked scallops, bland red snapper, lamb that was missing its sauce or seasoning. On the positive side, the appetizers were all still good, the kung po calamari, a crabcake, dumplings and sushi were all enjoyed by all. Reservation was not honored. We had to wait for a table.
should have been informed of special holiday menue when made reservation. 2 people $160.00- & i didnt like anything on menue. afterwards went through mcdonalds drive-through....for 10bucks- it was great!!
Ate upstairs. What a let down. Service was poorest I've ever experienced. Had to ask for plates. Decor lacking almost as much.
