From reading other reviews, they have to be rigged. The food was good, but it was overshadowed by the really awful service. Bread basket was delicious as were the appetizers albeit the calamari came out cold as if it was sitting in the kitchen too long. Grilled romaine salad was nice with the goat cheese. Filet mignon came out overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were too garlicky. I must note that a new filet came out perfectly minutes later. Desserts too were nothing special. We ate here on Thanksgiving. They had a nice menu special. When we were seated the table was not set. First waiter took drink order, then the next waiter asked for our drink order and we told him we already ordered. Bread arrived. First course was good, warm not hot soup :(. Whoever answered phone made a mistake when I asked about which specials were available. No specials were in fact available when I went to the restaurant. Server did not want to offer bar menu at first, and server also seemed very upset that we were only there for a drink and some appetizers. Very disappointed after very good experience the first time I was there. Food remains good, but portions are small.

Although the service was excellent and the wine list impressive, the overall meal was lacking. The Rib Eye I had must have been purchased at the local Stop N Shop. I have purchased better at local butcher shops. The Sushi was similar to that purchased at Trader Joe's.

Unfortunatly, this is a not a restaurant I would recommend. The table was sticky. My friend asked the waitress about beer and she picked one. The waitress came back three times to advise her that each of the 3 beers she chose were not available. My friend asked about the tap beer, but was told the tap beer was flat. My friend ordered skirt steak well, it was medium. We ordered cappuccino, but the waitress came back and told us the machine was not working. Server pleasent, not very attentive. No plates with appetizers had to use bread plate. Had to ask for steak knife and steak sauce. No fresh pepper. Food was great but staff needs to pay attention to details.

Resturant did not honor Open Table confirmed reservation. Hostess who's name I did not get insisted we did not have a reservation and refused to seat us in the main dining area even though there were two empty tables. Hostess was quite rude and refused to even to go an extra inch to verify our confirmed reservation.

After reading all of the great reviews we decided to try it out on a Tuesday evening, Not sure if we picked the wrong night but the food was ok at best. Not very tasty and not what we were expecting. Calamari was chewy and the Kung pao sauce taste weird and not in a good way. I ordered the steak which was chewy and tasteless and my husband had a seafood boullabaise which was the blandest thing I've ever tasted.
