We had a reservation at 7 and they didn't seat us until after 7pm, they put us at a small table, the noise level was extremely Loud where my husband and I couldn't even have a conversation. Out waitress was overwhelmed and did not keep on top of our table. The food was bland. We were here before and after this time we will not be back again.
While the food was good, the service was horrible. I had an 8:30 reservation and was not seated until 9:20. Once seated, it took over 20 minutes to get bread, despite asking the waiter several times. Our water was never refilled, my husband was missing a fork & we did not get chopsticks with our sushi. We had to ask for these things several times & had to wait a while until we got them.
Extensive menu. Good food. Very poor service.

I have only written one review before, for the spectacular Daniel in Manhattan. I feel compelled to write this one, for the complete opposite reason. The local paper gave this restaurant a really good review so we decided to try it. We ordered the special appetizer sushi roll which looked good on paper. Under new ownership. Ironing out the kinks. Worth a second look.
Everything here was average, with the exception of our server who did a great job. The restaurant itself is in definite need of some sprucing up and a good deep cleaning. Some fine tuning and this place could be a real gem!
HAD TO SENT BACK TWO MEALS TWICE
They were out of many food items on the menu by 8 o'clock on a Saturday night. The waitress kept saying it was because they were in the process of changing their menu, but that would still not explain why they were out of so many items (halibut, steak, etc.)
