I was scheduled to purchase a 11-year townhouse/condo as a long term investment on 12/19/17. The place had had a gourmet kitchen, 3-1/2 baths, and three heating systems. I did the inspection of a previous investment property myself and made the mistake of not actually running a new dishwasher that still had the stickers on it. At the recommendation of a friend, we gave Top to Bottom a try for our brand new home being built. The initial pre-drywall inspection was very limited and seemed like it was done poorly. However, we did not complain because we did not know for certain that the inspection was not done thoroughly. Regrettably the check was sent to the address of the inspection. Since this is new construction I'm sure it's still there waiting. This rightly contributed to your impression nothing was being done. This review is for their sign placement services. We have been waiting for over a week for them to move an improperly located sign on our property. My realtor has left a dozen messages. They keep promising a date and time, so we stay home & wait but they do not come. Very poor customer service.

Update: after living in the house for 2 weeks, my opinion of the inspection has gone down quite a bit. Lots of fairly obvious problems like socks stuffed into the cracks of the window AC unit didn't get noticed, and most importantly the mold inspection I wrote about previously was WRONG! I had done the mold test even though the inspector said he didn't smell anything, and when the report came back negative I let the issue go. I should not have!!! We have used Top to Bottom in the past to clean our carpets and have been very happy. This time our just refinished floors were scratched, newly painted walls scuffed up and some moulding damaged. At some point the breaker in the basement flipped off and rather than tell me the guy just switched plugs on a different breaker. All of this to clean 1 room of carpet. Not happy. The carpet is clean - now we have to repair the damage.

Jim Parlato with Top to Bottom services is an ok inspector. He missed a number of issues that needed to be addressed in the house. I would definitely not recomend Top to Bottom services.
