To our surprise, our inspector, Dawa was already there waiting for us at the house. She was very energetic and helpful. Before doing the inspection, she explained the whole process and what she will be looking for. After answering all of our questions and concerns, she went about inspecting the house from top to bottom. When she show something, she would show us the picture to inform us of the problem and make suggestions on how to fix it. For my new home, John came by to perform a home inspection and was incredibly insightful about various parts of the house. He not only performed the inspection, but passed on multiple tips about how to make sure the various systems in the home will be well maintained and kept in good working order. I can't recommend Top to Bottom enough.
I requested Doug based on a recommendation, and was incredibly happy with the level of attention he gave each detail about the house. I'm used to home inspectors being somewhat of a useless expense, but Doug changed that. He basically covered every inch of the house, and explained how to use, and maintain everything in it. Jim did an inspection of a house I am buying from Wells Fargo Foreclosures. He spent hours walking us through every aspect of the house, both inside and out. As a guy who does construction, there were things I know to look for; but Jim looked for many things I did not even think of. His advice and recommendations were outstanding and I would highly recommend TTBS to anyone getting a home inspection.
just okay, nothing great. Our inspection was for a townhouse in McLean. Our inspector did not know VA laws or requirements, which was disappointing. If you use them for MD, you'll be better off. I'd use someone else in VA.

A1 Service, literally from Top to Bottom. Name is very fitting and they are wonderful. I definitely recommend their services to everyone. Dan did an amazing job with my home inspection. He talked and walked me through the entire process. He also spoke with me the next day about things I had concerns about. Quality customer service from start to finish. Had to reschedule a few times and they were very accommodating. Also Dan had some contractors contact me about possible quotes for home work. Love their service.
