We came to this dealership in search of a used car. We came to this dealership in search of a used car. Overall impression was not positive. Service was slow and not very friendly. Salesman was very aggressive and every time was asking us to put an initial on the paper that we would buy the car for the price he named. Then he would go away and come back 20 min later to tell that price is different now. It happened several times and we wasted 2 hours on that bargaining part. At the end he said "sorry, I will buy you a lunch o... read more

This was my first car buying experience and it really taught me the value of knowing what not to do when you go into a dealership. Town East Ford is the kind of high pressure car selling you hear stories about. I ended up being there for 5 hours. They will not let you leave until you buy something. If you do not buy from one salesman, they'll send in another until they get you. :-( If you are going with Ford, I would recommend the Five Star Ford in Plano. I looked at their cars first, and they weren't nearly as pushy as the ... read more

I wish I had checked the dealers reputation and rating before going to dealership and saved my time. I had bad experience. I will not recommend this dealer. Lots of sales pressure and made up stories. Online prices listed by dealer are wrong to attract buyers. I reccommend buyers to not even try. I find this dealership a waste of time!

BEWARE: Sales department list vehicles at very attractive low price on autotrader, cars.com and their own website which they dont have in stock to bring you in and when you arrive they tell you it was just sold. I found this vehicle on autotraders and went to Ford east website to see it was in stock. I requested test drive and more info. Next morning sales person called me and i asked if vehicle was still available. I was told yes it was. I made appointment for test drive and reached at dealership in 3hours (i live 2hours aw... read more

Business response:

100% of the time the customer is always right but when a customer tries to talk down and yell and scream to anyone because they themselves made the mistake. I cannot go with along with it, You called about a car a day before you arrive at the dealership, NO call ahead so that we could have told you that has already been sold, you say it’s a 2 hour ride and really its 40 mins with traffic, i at first told you that I’m sorry it has happened but you just got louder and at one point i thought you were going to hit me. I did not ... read more

Called to check on the availability of a car they had advertised on line. Gave the stock number etc. and Joel said they actually had two on the lot. Drove an hour to get there and was told when I got there the cars had been sold. Then they tried to sell me something else - typical bait and switch. This dealership is the reason people hate car salesmen. Ethics is apparently not a priority. Beware!!

After purchasing our new 2010 F150 Lariat we were hit with the usual thousands of dollars worth of extra. We decided the next day that we did not want the extras valued at $3500. We immediately went to Town East Ford and spoke with Derek and was told that Ford had already funded the truck. He went on to say that since we changed our minds quickly enough that it was no problem that a cancellation request would be sent the next business day and Ford Motor Credit would be refunded the money by the dealership. 29 days later we r... read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. A month after signging my lease I received a phone call asking me to come back in a sign as "there were mistakes all over my lease" and that "they were totally unprepared for me." I had spent almost 2 hours there when I first did my paperwork, so I was very upset. In addition, I traded in a Lexus and this car was still not paid off, and I did not have possession of it. I went back in and signed my lease and that was a disaster! The person that helped me couldn'... read more

Took truck in for repairs 2 years ago. Replaced pilot bearing, then clutch assembly, then took transmission apart and replaced a seal. After all this they finally decided it was engine and all the other work was unnecessary. Reached a deal and had a rebuilt engine put in after 3 weeks of truck in shop. Then had problem with rebuilt engine next day so it spent another week in shop. Not happy then but could live with it. Now we reach last weekend, two years later. Noise with truck again. Was told I new new throw-out bear with ... read more
