Delicious food in a very friendly restaurant. The wait staff was quick to fulfill every request. The veal in the veal piccata was so very tender. The minestrone was delicious on a cold evening—Full of spinach and other vegetables
Our daughter performed at Carnegie Hall that evening.
We went in for an after theater meal. Had reservations and they seated us right away. The food was ok but really not anything worth what they were priced at. Heart of palm salad was good, the fried artichokes were almost painful to eat. They really should have been cleaned better before frying them. The pizza is definitely not the best despite claims to the contrary on the menu. Not great for a large group. Very loud and not equipped for such a group, took 25 minutes before we got get wine ordered and it was LOUD.
We were visiting NYC and staying at the Michelangelo Hotel, which is a short distance away, so convenience was a big plus. Our reservations were for Sunday, December 1st at 6:30. Although the weather was rainy and windy and trying to snow, the atmosphere inside was warm, friendly, and energetic. All four of us ordered different plates of food.
