Food was a bit salty. Had meatballs, and octopus appetizers, both too salty. Our chicken dish was AMAZING and recommended by our server who was very accommodating!

Haven't dined at Trattorial Dell'Arte in several years. Always fond of restaurant. We were there for pizza and a caesar salad. Both super. Probably the best thin-crust pizza in NYC.Also had a wonderful sauvignon blanc. The staff was delightful. Can't wait to visit again.

Love this place for it’s quality, energy, service, location and value. Antipasto bar selections are super.

Food was good but our table felt very cramped (in the middle of the front room) and the service felt rushed.

At the start of our meal here, we were impressed by the service, but after a while the attentiveness waned, and became somewhat rude, which was a major disappointment, The food was good however and the wine list and its value was exceptional. Towards the end of our meal, we felt as if we were being rushed. This combined with the decline in service equates to the fact that we will not frequent the establishment again in the future.

The food and service are excellent. We have eaten there twice and enjoyed it both times. The wine list is extensive and for NYC not priced too badly. The first time we were there, it was not too crowded , so the ambience was better and the noise level not bad. The second visit, the place was jammed and noisy. But even then, the food was very good and the service very professional. Although the restaurant is listed as "reasonable", it is actually quite expensive with main courses as high at $40 to $50.

We've been to TDArte many times. This time it seemed a bit tired. The antipasti bar did not have many interesting things. Seafood has disappeared from the antipasti bar menu altogether. Portions were small, barely a morsel apiece for 6 people. Our entree food was better than excellent but not outstanding. Portions were generous and preparation was excellent. Wines were reasonably priced. Reds were less than $100/bottle and very good. Service was attentive at the right level . We had a corner booth which enabled us to convers... read more

Almost left after getting seated. Waited too long for water and first attention from a waiter. Pastas were mediocre . We prefer a more tomato based sauce, not brown . Had lasagna and ravioli . Wished we had gone back to Patsy’s.
