Each time we make a trip to NYC from PA for a holiday tratorre del Arte is a wonderful part of it! The food is outstanding in tSte and variety! The whole ambiance is celebratory and speciL. What a treat! And from the size of the crowd it is no no secret. We wYs recommend it to friends plannoa visit. The noise level is high; but adds to the excitement of being in the Big Apple & at a hot spot. See you next time for sure!

Very busy Saturday night. Server was either overwhelmed, or too many tables. Several of our requests never happened (water glass for sparking, spoon for pasta, another glass of wine...etc) Took forever to get our bill. Food is always great though!

When We got there, one of the staff people was in a conversation right at the door with what i supposed to be a good client, so we just stood there for what seems to be a good 3 minutes before he finally spoke and told us to move in. At that point, we almost left. But the other man was very nice and told one of the staff to bring is on the second floor and we had a nice table. But.... There was a group of young adults, about 6-7 who seemed to have a party over there as they were screaming ( and beleive me when i say screamin... read more

Terrific food and good service especially for a restaurant packed with pre-theater diners. The only issue is the noise -- incredibly loud, which creates a sense of crowding.

My dinner companion had the chicken parm which was excellent...and enormous! I had the antipasto choice of three vegetables - spinach, asparagus and Brussels sprouts - all of which were cold though the menu stated they wouldbe served warm. I also ordered the bowl of meatballs which were also cold and not very flavorful. The wine was delicious, the service lovely even though the restaurant was packed with tables quite close together and therefore very noisy. I would enjoy this restaurant most with a group of girlfriend for lu... read more

Have been going to Tratoria on and off for over a decade. Service remains a positive constant. Friendly and seemingly happy staff. Made reservations well in advance for a group of business associates. Our table was the issue; about 2 feet from a wait station ( crowded) , chairs were very uncomfortable, location wasn't conducive to our dinner meeting. I requested a change of location, I was informed that it would be a 40 minute wait. We kept the table . The manager was a real gentleman and did send over a nice bottle of itali... read more
