My favorite dining in NYC where they serve my favorite food-Jerusalem Artichokes. They were out of them. That's all I wanted! Did have pasta w/white clam sauce. Good, not great. Miss their antipasto bar with the seafood.
The grilled veal chop was absolutely to die for, following an assortment of appetizers from the vegetable bar. An apsolute go to for a delightful Saturday night. Our group of four spent three hours with no pressure from the staff. Clearly 5 stars.
Perfect for dinner before a concert at Carnegie Hall. They have the timing completely under control.

The service level in this restaurant is a lesson for every would-be upscale place. They actually hire enough staff to take very good care of you. The menu is large, but the food is fabulous and arrives surprisingly fast! Because they cater to a lot of people going to Carnegie Hall (right across the street), they have a fine-tuned corps of servers and buskers, who really work fast. We were remarkably impressed both times we went here!

My second meal there. Good great. Particularly the fried artichoke hearts. ( a favorite of mine) and the pizza. Didn't love the calves liver. Good but too much sauce.
Consistently good. Flatbread pizzas for starters are great. Calves liver is a specialty; chicken Milanese was awesome. All good. Great service
