Still good and predictable but starting to look a bit tired. Interesting vege options mixed with stand-bys. Helpful staff aim to please....Like seeing an old friend.,.You have seen it and heard it all before...
This is my go to restaurant whenever I am in the city for a play. Very predictable delicious food!
We returned to the Trattoria Christmas week , after many years away. It's everything we wanted in a NYC dining experience. First, the servicer was attentive and gracious. The food was amazing, with the carbonara being the best we've ever had.We almost skipped dessert because of feeling so satisfied, but when we saw the cannoli, we had to try. Best ever, with a thin, cookie type of shell. The atmosphere had a lot of hustle and bustle, but it was Christmas and festive and fun!
Terrific restaurant in Manhattan's busiest area. Excellent Italian cuisine. Our three antipasto selections were delicious (potatoes, stuffed peppers, zucchini). Bolognese was exceptional. Service was attentive and steady; didn't need to worry about being late for Broadway show. Lack of prices on the menu seems unnecessary and is a bit unnerving, but final bill was what we expected. Still, that's why I gave it three for ambiance: it made me nervous, detracting from the otherwise fine experience.
Attentive service, excellent food! Try the fried artichokes appetizer - melts in you mouth!
Our Server was excellent. The food was very good, we had small children, but they had spaghetti and meatballs. Overall nice experience.
Went for dinner just after Xmas. Very crowded but seated promptly. Good drinks. Assorted antepasta were tasty. Lasagna was huge but lacked tomato sauce. Short rib portion was also very generous and plated with polenta. Dishes were perfectly acceptable but not special. Dessert of cannoli was appropriately sweet with crunchy outside. Convenient midtown location a cross from Carneige Hall.
Great pizza and even better service! If you like thin "high end" pizza, this is a great place. The restaurant is big and informal, the waitress were extremely nice and attentive. I'll definitely return.
Friendly staff, creative menu and extensive bar menu
