The food is good. That's about all that needs to be said. It's not a destination restaurant, but it's solid, a stalwart, having been here for decades. The antipasti are always fresh and well-prepared. The pizzas are good, especially if you like a really thin, almost cracker-like crust. The artichokes are tasty. They had an incredible looking meringue cake (ask to see the whole display version) that was too sweet but delicious, with mountainous swirls of meringue and liquor-soaked layers. I have been to Trattoria Dell'Arte several times now and always find it to be a great experience. The service is outstanding, right from the friendly folks who greet you to the wait staff who are cheerful and helpful, always willing to go out of their way to make sure you are happy. And the food! That's the best part! As a vegetarian I have struggled in other places to find good food and a variety of offerings, but Trattoria Dell'Arte is rich with outstanding offerings that do not include meat. The wine is also very good. If... read more
Always good, a classic. Great food & service. When you tell them you have a show, they know how to get you in and out and still have a great meal.
Food is good, a bit pricey, service good and OK if the noise level doesn't bother you.
Excellent but portions way to large. Otherwise excellent
This is a great place to go if you like Tuscan style food served in much the same as in Tuscany. Very good anti pasta and seafood with pasta was very good. Lots of seafood, less pasta which is as it should be. Most places flip that on it's head, unfortunately. I will go back any time we are in the area for dinner and would recommend to anyone who loves good food. It is a bit noisy downstairs, so eat upstairs for a slightly quieter atmosphere.
This place is wonderful! It's like you are not in NY. There were 2 men at the desk and they greeted us SO warmly, as if we were old friends...shook our hands and everything. We've been to Italy. ..and we felt we were there again in this moment. So friendly and welcoming! And a complimentary apertif! Amazing feeling! The food was great too and the ambience is just lovely! Will definitely go back!
While there are many restaurants with better food and service, this place has been our favorite for over 20 years. Great Late night - always perfect when you get off an airplane. Best Thin crust pizza anywhere. Overall a great place
Absolutely fabulous as always. Will return again and again
