We have now spend 3 Anniversaries coming to NYC and visiting Trattoria Dell'Arte. Every time we go we feel as if we are part of the family. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and the staff is friendly. We love the restaurant and plan to go back everytime we are in NYC! Highly Recommend!
We've been here many times and I think they had an "off" night. We will give them another chance because of our previous experience. However, they need to know they have competition!
The food is very good here, as is the service. The portions are quite large, especially if you want to have more than one course, so sharing is a good idea. This is a perfect place to dine before going to an event at Carnegie Hall, which is right across the street.
I have been coming to this restaurant over the course of many years and it'd been a couple of years at least since I was last here. I brought a party of eight this night. Our server was from Ireland, he was absolute perfection, just the right touch which added to our experience. The food was superb, and everyone in our party loved their entree and thought they'd ordered the best one! We will be back again soon.
We have been going to this restaurant since the 90's and It's our favorite. The Veal Parmesan is amazing and easily serves two. We had two young grandsons with us and they loved it, too! Staff is amazing and service is superb. Food arrived in a timely fashion and temperature was perfect. Noise level is just right. When you enter, it's obvious it's popular because all tables are filled. It's must if you're in the city.
One of my favorite spots in NYC. Try to get there whenever I'm in town. The Ahi/yellowtail is superb!!
We had outstanding service and that was from everyone that worked at Trattoria Dell'Arte. Friends from Chicago recommended this restaurant to us and on our recent trip we had to go. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. We had a great time and were not rushed even though our party was late arriving and it was Valentine's Day weekend. I would highly recommend and a great wine list is a plus to everything else.
Knowing this restaurant has been around a long time and it appears "theater crowd" oriented I was nervous. It was awesome. Warm and friendly greeting, glass of bubbly, good service, good food and good value. And the easiest thing to do, but something that made a huge impression - at the end they brought out warm cookies on a big baking sheet and offered oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip. I h ave been here many, many times. The only thing I wanted to mention was that the main course was brought out too early. The waiter had not cleared and already had the plates in his hands. It also arrived just moments that we had finished the appetizers (starters). A few moments would have been a better solution. Overall a wonderful time had by all, once things slowed down.
