My family and I had a holiday dinner along with the end to my 60th birthday month. This was a special occassion and we had $300 in gift cards so we splurged! This was our second visit to this restaurant and will return again. The server had so much energy and personality. i think everyone who worked there was just like her.
We enjoyed a dinner for 5 on rainy Dec. 23rd. Arriving incomplete parties were kindly offered prosecco as they waited. The service was very good, professional. The food was quite good but pricey... the online menu is NOT what is offered; even that has no prices. The renowned antipasto bar is way overpriced for about 1/4 to 1/3 c. of each item chosen. Our second trip to Trattoria. From the maitrde to the table help everything was excellent Service, food, seating, wine etc
"I love the relaxed feel of this place - like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
Over the holidays many restaurants close but you can always get a table at Trattoria. Service is generally good and the food tasty - not great - but good. Does get a lot of tourists staying the hotels in the neighborhood. Close to Carnegie Hall
The restaurant is a great place to go for dinner. We ate on the second floor and the ceiling is low so if you are tall you will have to duck down. The food was wonderful but the drinks were only okay. Don't pass up on the desserts.
The restaurant is very good both on service's and food quality. They also have agood wine list, and very nice list of starter , specially on vegetables. I like it and i recommend.
This restaurant not only serves up the best antipasti buffet by its servers, but the rest of the food is fantastic. The ravioli is the best I have ever eaten. We felt like a member of the family, got seated immediately and agreed that sitting next to the host station would be fun. Then, a show let out and all chaos ensued, with lines of people waiting to check in, and no tables to place them at. But the master of the evening, made it all okay. He broke out the champagne, got everyone singing Merry Christmas, and was a joy to... read more
The selection and quality of food was outstanding. Restaurant was very busy and tables are very close together. Very loud and congested. Suggest the check-in location be closer to the door, difficult to get thru the crowds to check in for reservation.
