Food and service was excellent. It was more lively than we expected, which was nice. Seemed to have a nice wine list, there were more than enough choices, across a fairly wide price range. We went with a great SuperTuscan. Meatball app was delicious, I had the polenta and lamb special that was more than I could eat. We would definitely go back and bring friends.

Enjoyed a nice lunch during the week. The service was friendly and welcoming. The food was good. Two in the party had luncheon salads and one had an entrée. All were well prepared and nicely presented.

I chose the restaurant based on the review online and I am very happy that I made this decision. We were there for my sister's birthday and it was one of the best experience. The service is to notch! Everyone is very friendly and they are eager to entertain. All the food we ordered were very good, but the best dishes were the meat ball and lobster carbonara. Cheese cake was one of the best I've ever had too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

So close to Carnegie Hall that we had to come here before the concert but we'll come back for the food which was delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the chef was able to accommodate our food allergies. We were delighted with our meal and didn't feel like we were rushed at all.

While perhaps a bit pricey, we had a lovely italian meal here with lots of specials avaiable and they got us in and out in an hour. The antipasto bar was varied and excellent; wines by the glass very nice; and some dishes were unusual, like swordfish with a well seasoned sauce. At the end we said we really didn't feel like a full dessert and the waiters brought around a cookie sheet fresh from the oven with little oatmeal cookies -- a very nice touch. I've found that returning a second time to a restaurant in Manhattan is often a letdown. NOT SO with Trattoria Dell'Arte. Our first dinner there was excellent ... and the 2nd time ...... EVEN BETTER. We are greeted like old friends by the Maitre'D ... such a nice start to our meal !! The dinner menu is outstanding and we chose the steak Fiorentina and eggplant lasagna as our mains after unique salads and followed by divine desserts. Good place to go before a concert at Carnegie just across the street. Excellent meal. Pleasant and helpful staff who didn't try to hurry us.

I love to being clients and people from our of town. Great fish and the best gluten free pasta. Best dessert a caramelized key lime pie ! They are very accommodating to special requests.

I can't say enough about how great the staff was and how fabulous the food was. We were a group of 15 and they put us at two tables next to each other. It was a very busy Saturday night and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating from the minute we walked in the door. They made us feel like we were the most important party there. Every course came out at the right time and was absolutely delicious. It is beautiful and elegant and reasonably priced.
