The food and service are always amazing! They treat us like family. The staff is super attentive and fun!
Service was really good... Everyone there are Very friendly and very welcoming.... We were vegetarian so did not have a lot of options but the food was decent
Trattoria Dell'Arte is located directly across the street from Carnegie Hall, so it couldn't be more convenient for your pre-concert brunch or dinner. The food is great and the staff is incredibly friendly. Make no mistake, you're not "settling" for a place that's handy to your evening's entertainment. It's worth coming here even if you have nothing else planned in the area. Stop by for a drink in the nose bar and learn what famous historical figure has a nose that resembles yours. Check out the body parts sculptures all ove... read more
One of my forever favorites in NYC. A must go to place on every trip. The food, the people, the service. It has all the stars. Never a bad moment, always a yes to accomodate.
We go there whenever we go back to NYC for a visit. I was born in Manhattan. My husband worked there 40 years and, even though he was born In Texas, we accept him as a New Yorker. We love the veal parm but took our waiter's advice first time around and split it. It's big enough for three, not just two. But the taste and texture almost always win us over... read more
We chose to be seated at the window in the cozy front of the restaurant near the bar. The high ceiling, interesting terra cotta colors, and vantage point for all the comings and goings at this obviously local favorite adjacent to Carnegie Hall, made for a delightful pre-theater meal filled with interesting chef specials. The super-fresh halibut with white asparagus was a great choice. The chicken pepperoni parmesan filled the plate. Moderately pricy with an la carte menu -- not a value restaurant, but this is New York. Will ... read more
Right opposite Carnegie Hall this is a classic Italien restaurant. The service was just right in being attentive but not intrusive. My pizza had a thin and crispy base and was a classic. We were attending a concert across the road and the service meant we were spot on time. Great place we will go again
Took people who had never eaten there. Everyone was delighted to have found a new restaurant for local dining.
The service is always terrific - they treat you like a regular, whether or not you are, and are mindful of the pace you wish to have your meal.
