The food is pretty much what we expected at a decent price point for this location. The dining room is so cozy and comfortable even in daylight. The service from everyone is absolutely outstanding! We stayed long after our lunch was over and they offered us treats. Very classy.

They certainly know how to get you in and out in time for your Broadway show or Carnegie Hall concert. And there's definitely a madcap energy coursing through the place from the moment you arrive to the end of the meal. It's festive and a real show. Having said that, the food is fine, but nothing special. And it's an expensive proposition. When Trattoria del Arte first opened, it was always a treat to start off with the mixed antipasti from their enormous selection. We shared one order as an appetizer, and were disappointed.... read more

We were attending a program at Carnegie Hall and specifically looked for a restaurant nearby. This came up on our search, and we decided to try it. It was amazing! The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and although we arrived 15 minutes late, we were still able to enjoy our 3-course dinner and arrive at Carnegie Hall in time for the show. Portions are a bit small, and my husband was surprised that his veal marsala did not come with a side, but the food was excellent. This place is a bit pricey, but it was worth it!... read more

Would definitely go again! Great find after the Late Show with David Letterman. Food was great, and so was the service.

Excellent experience! This restaurant is right across the street from Carnegie Hall. Food was awesome and service top notch. I work in Manhattan and this is now my go-to spot for Italian!

Wow. Just wow. We walked in and were treated to some dessert before dinner with a tray of butlered cookies. We sat in the back for my friend's bday and they brought out some complimentary champagne. We ordered the buffalo mozzarella caprese which was PHENOMENAL. We split the veal speciality - also PHENOMENAL. We couldn't fit dessert but they brought out canoli's and sang to my friend. Then they brought out pieces of dark chocolate. Oh, and on the way out, gratis shots of Lemonchello. It was amazing. I loved it. Would go back... read more

Found Trattoria Dell'Arte 10 years ago...and have returned 5-6 times when travel takes me to Manhattan. They make a clear statement by welcoming you back and it clearly works...great servers and fun environment. Food is consistently strong...not pretentious but likely to satisfy most foodies. Given all the options in Manhattan, can't go wrong with Trattoria Dell'Arte.

Trattoria Dell'Arte was everything that I desired. The moment that I entered the resturant, I was greeted as family. The food, ambience, and service all were on the mark, and the quality of the food was like I was eating at an Itallian grandmother house. My reservations time was honered. I plan on returning and trying so more of the different items
