My wife and I could barely hear each other at a table for 2 in the middle of the dining area. While the service was very attentive, the waiter pushed the specials (both entrees and desserts). We selected the specials without asking the prices - which is our fault. We always expect specials to be at a premium, but they turned out to be at least 40% more than comparable dishes on the regular menu that we would have ordered. ($55 vs $30-25). My family and I booked a last minute reservation here and were welcomed with open arms and a huge welcome as we entered. Although the menu prices were a bit high, its normal for that touristy part of town. The Pesto Ravioli was delicious and so was the Anti Pasta Bar! This restaurant had an energetic feel and something on the menu for everyone. Would definitely go back for dinner!
I really enjoyed our brunch. I was dining with my family, which means I had to find a restaurant that would have a variety of vegetarian options, plus meat and fish. The menu fit the bill! Every bite was delicious. I will go back. The wait staff was wonderful with great service and smiles.
The place was jumping with a very energetic vibe. We were taking out client from overseas so we wanted a place that would impress on the food, ambiance and service fronts. We were not disappointed. Benjamin, our waiter, was outstanding and the food was just a s good!
Excellent food and service, though on the pricey side. The place is large and totally packed on a Saturday evening, but the location for our Carnegie Hall show was ideal. I would definitely go back.
The food is fresh simple and well prepared. It has the most amazing antipasto bar and the best chicken soup I have ever had. The staff are all very professional and kind. It is a little gem across from Carnegie Hall
After several years, Trattoria Dell'Arte still remains one of my favorite lunch spots in New York City. From the welcoming prosciutto and cheese biscuit, to the warm homemade cookies offered right off of the baking sheet, we felt most appreciated. The menu consists of several delicious offerings for those who want a "light" meal and those preferring Italian favorites. A gem of a restaurant!
This place is always solid. food and service is always top notch. Great Antipasto bar. Can't go wrong with Trattoria DellArte.
Wonderful people, ambience and food. Have been there several times - simply wonderful!
