Trattoria is stuck in time. Everything but the prices! Foood was uneven: fried artichokes were good, but the potato gratin was boring, the pesto ravioli was a whole lot of pesto over bland pasta. The ambiance continues to be amusing albeit kitsch and the staff is welcoming and friendly. With so many other choices in NY, there is no need to come back to Trattoria.
I have been to Trattoria Dell'Arte twice. Both times did not disappoint. Service and food are consistently very good. Many people underrate consistency. Food was excellent both times and my guests seem to enjoy the fare. That is a testament as one is 100% Italian. Service is excellent. Very friendly and engaging but not overly bothersome. My water glass was never empty. Sounds like a small thing, but big in my book when it comes to service. Mangia!
Perfect for Carnegie Hall and Broadway shows. Food is nice. Service excellent. Pricing is fair and their brunch is a great value. Serviced is very good.I always like it here although the noise level is sometimes too loud.
Food was great. Good value for the money. Wonderful service. Terrific desserts.
Very busy restaurant which caused the service to be sluggish. Very noisy as well. Excellent food.
Food & service were good. Would go again. Recommend the Halibut.
Spent a fun evening here amidst the crowd of diners. Directly across from Carnegie Hall. Well-nuanced, modernly interpreted Italian food that worked even for a non-foodie like me.c Harried but conscientious service and they took care of our every request in a professional manner. Reservations a must!
I was here 20 years ago for a celebration dinner and I was impressed then and was equally impressed again this time out as well.
The pasta and salad were superb. The service was a bit slow. Overall, an excellent pre-theatre dinner restaurant.
