My fav place for dining before attending Carnegie events. Very broad Italian menu, up to date preparation but not over the top. Excellent veal choices. Friendly and efficient service, get you out on time. Crowded, usually need reservations after 6 PM.
Eat at trattoria- great meal and out on time
Enjoying NYC w sisters for just a weekend--we almost always eat at trattorio dell Arte. We always have fun there. Good food with good portions at reasonable prices. Tasty specials. We usually bring a wine from cellar for celebration. Reasonable corkage. Enjoyable staff.
excellent service and food - varied menu selection
I was taken by Richard warm welcome and offered me a glass of Prosecco. The place took me back in family own restaurants in Italy and Greece. The selections of Antipasti are amazing...all the ones I had are very good. I was there 2 night s in a row and stopped by for lunch before I took my flight home. I had to take back 6 selections of Antipasti and 2 orders of 101 Lasagna. We had it for dinner the next day and it was soooo good.. All the servers are friendly specially John, Giovanni and another guy at the Antipasti counter... read more
I was in NYC for a trade show and booked a reservation for 6 which then grew to 8, then to 10 in the days leading up to our dinner. Each time I called, the hosts were extremely accommodating with our growing party and made sure we were confident that the seating arrangement would be comfortable even with such a large group. The food was delicious, waiter was gracious and great with suggestions. He was there just enough, filling drinks and checking on us without being too much. We had a wonderful time and a delicious meal, hi... read more
Truly the best place in town for a FAB meal. I was there twice last week. This is one of my favorite restaurants. You can't get a bad meal there.
I have always loved this restaurant, but now pre-concerts at Carnegie you can no longer order the very delicious pizza and you also used to be able to order a not on the menu Caesar salad. No more! Price for veal parmigiana - $50. Seems too much.
I've been dining at Trattoria Del'Arte for over 20 years now. It's one of the first places I go when I get into the City. Great food and atmosphere. Don't forget to try the Pasta e Fagoli!
