I have eaten here before a Broadway show, and before a concert at Lincoln Center. My only complaint is that I thought I asked for a house Chianti and got a $26 glass of wine without being told or asked about the price. It is noisy and crowded but the food is great.

Across from Carnegie Hall. Very popular restaurant with comprehensive Northern Italian menu. Food very well prepared. Service good even when crowded, which it often is. Best spot for pre Carnegie dining.

Close to the theaters and easy in and out. The service was great and all the food was as well.

we went there for a pre-theatre dinner on a Friday night. it was packed and the service very slow but they compensated by offering champagne so we forgave them... other than that, excellent food and good wines, although expensive. we will most certainly go back, just allow more time or maybe not on Friday night

What more can be said: Welcoming staff, beautiful setting, incredible service, great food, even an impressive pre fixe lunch menu. Don't miss this place!
