We were very pleased with the friendliness and the great food. The only dissapointment was despite noting on opentable that this was a special Birthday celebration, they completely ignored it.
Just moved in down the block and were glad to find a non-touristy restaurant in the neighborhood. Pizza was fantastic. Cannolis were gluten free. Many gluten free options also on the menu.
Everyone we spoke to was wonderful, pleasant and efficient on a very busy Saturday night!
We had friends visiting from Houston, and booked this restaurant which was located near Central Park. It was very crowded, but thanks to the advance booking via OpenTable, we walked straight to the table. Foor was excelent, a little bit tight spacing between tables, but well worth the squeeze. Would highly recommend it, but make sure you sit near who you would like to speak with, as the noise level can get rather high.
A last minute reservation was treated not only graciously, but with enthusiasm! We were treated to glasses of Prosecco while waiting (5 minutes)! Maitre'd and wait staff were extraordinary. Pizza was best I ever had. The vegetable assortment and the chef's treatment of them were creative and delicious. I can't wait to return!
Great food and large portions - the veal chop parmesan was amazing and so huge two could share it with leftovers! Decadent desserts. Best of all was our waiter - , attentive, funny, knowledgeable, yet never in the way. The entire staff appeared to truly be enjoying their jobs and making sure that customers enjoyed their meals and experience. Very Highly Recommended!!!
The host was very congenial and gave us a nice welcome. We were seated immediately. I had the Lobster Seafood Risotto and it was delicious. My friend had the Lasagna and was very happy with it. Service was lightning-fast.
We had a reservation and we still waited a half an hour to be seated. Once seated everything went well.
Quite busy on our recent visit as two venues in Carnegie Hall were having events, but the waiters managed to give attentive service and get everyone out for their curtains. The thin crust pizza is wonderful and makes a great appetizer to share or a meal. Also really enjoyed the antipasti vegetables. And for a main course we had the liver and lasagne.
