Loved the giant tortellini w bolognese here. Veal piccata also nice. My ten year old liked the thin plain pizza. Our maître d and server were welcoming, enthusiastic and friendly. Will return next trip to try the extensive antipasto.
I go here every time I'm in NY. Love it
This place continues to be extremely popular because it combines great food with a staff that gives great service and creates an enjoyable, festive atmosphere. Always a hit!
Even though I didn't see any celebrities this time around. The service was great and the food was very good. I always like this place for business dinners.
Never a disappointment, whether looking for pasta or seafood. Top rate service.
Servers are the best; personable and conscientious.
A very pleasant place to take out of town guests for pre or post Carnegie Hall concerts. It's right across the street. The menu is extensive, kind of a turbo charged diner menu with an Italian/Mediterranean overlay. Nothing is very challenging or exciting nor need it be - it's just a convenient, attractive, social place, not an emporium for foodies. The crowd was distinctly out of townish on the night we were there and the service was fine.
It's a little pricey, but great quality, great service and excellent portions. We went before an event and the service was timely without being rushed.
Though the noise level was louder than we like, and the restaurant was packed, every dish our party of four ordered was fantastic! Bread, soups, salads, entrées and desserts were swoon-worthy.
