What a great dining experience. We had a table by the window and watched the 7th Avenue activity and Carnegie Hall. It was lovely. The service, food and ambiance was outstanding.
Seated promptly, quick service, friendly waiter. We had a 6 PM reservation and had plenty of time to have dinner & dessert and stroll to the theater for an 8 o'clock curtain. Very nice.
Waitress was very impatient and unfriendly, but fortunately, the maitre'd was funny and brought us sa bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our bachelorette party. Food was good, but not as good as I remembered it last time I was there. Overall, 3 out of 5.
Delightful restaurant - excellent food, friendly wait-staff, good wine list, pleasant atmosphere. The antipasto selection is amazing. It's a bit of old Italy.
Wonderful food, great service. A true gem.
Five of us dined before the Opera and had a wonderful experience that included lovely wine, great appetizers and dinner...but the evening was made special by our wait person! By the of the meal we were convinced that it was a five star experience....
This is a venerable and quality restaurant. Our family group of five had a 7:30 reservation, and that was a mistake. It turns out that 7:30 is the time of maximum arrivals and departures, which means waits for seating, service, food, and the like. Our waiter gave us complimentary proseco at the end of our meal, which was a welcome gesture but did not wipe out the memories of the early part of the experience.
perfect spot for dinner before or after a concert in that neighborhood! Delicious and festive with terrific service!
Food was authentic Italian. Absolutely delicious. Best I have had in a while dining out in NYC.
