Trattoria is always a pleasure, from the food and the service and ambiance, I just love it.

Had a veal chop here 7 years ago. There still just as good. We also ordered the thin crust pizza as an appetizer. Best pizza I have ever had. Great place to dine.

The food was delicious, but the service was mediocre at best. There were two of us for dinner and we were there for 2-1/2 hours! Also, I got a dish with prawns that came with the heads on. I asked for the heads to be removed prior to serving me and they were not. Seeing the little eyes staring back at me was a bit unnerving.

Very good food, waiter was patient, helpful and very friendly. Tartufo dessert was amazing and addictive treat, esp for chocolate lovers.

Overall I would say it was a fun and tasty nite. Oops, forgot the insane logjam at the front door..perhaps rethinking the layout and placement of seating desk would relieve the crush and diff... read more

When in New York, we always try to eat 1 meal here. Always have found the food and service to be excellent and the wine list more than adequate. It can get noisy---but it is Italian after all---and it makes the food taste better.

Was a great experience. The only bad thing was we were seated next to the hostess desk, so there were always people standing near our table.
