We were celebrating the publication of a book that we both worked on, and we had a glass of champagne to start with. Our waiter congratulated us too! One had lobster fra diavolo, and the other had a tuna burger, medium rare and delicious, preceded by a two vegetable appetizer (caramelized fennel and asparagus). We also had dessert and coffee, and the entire experience was delightful.
Always great on every trip to NYC
Great antipasti selections (try the caponata), fine pasta dishes, nice surroundings, good wine list. Decor is fun and the ambience is pleasant with lots of "locals" in attendance. Location is good for pre or post theater visit.
Once I check into the Ritz, I ALWAYS walk over to Trattoria Dell'Arte for dinner.My very favorite NYC restaurant. Thank you for providing delicious food, and fabulous service.
Our family of five, including three young adult children, had lovely Italian food and wine here before strolling down to theater to see "Wicked". This restaurant is also my husband's preferred place to dine alone in New York City, on those rare nights when he has no functions. On such nights, he prefers to sit right at the antipasto bar. A highly recommended restaurant.
It was our second visit to Trattoria and it didn't disappoint. Lots of energy in the room - good vibe with a laid back feel. Service was excellent. Our kids loved the pizzas - very thin crust. Lots of great options on the menu. Something for almost anyone. We'll be back!
This is a good unpretentious restaurant and I have never been disappointed here. I go every time I visit NYC. The antipasti is great and you can design it to your preferences. Trust me you will like it.
One of the premiere restaurants in all of Manhattan. A sheer delight to attend such a well kept, eclectic, and extraordinary restaurant. My +1 commented that this was the best restaurant she had been to since her trip throughout Europe and that the restaurant made it the best date she had ever had. Will be sure to return!
I had not been to Trattoria Dell'Arte in several years. It did not disappoint. Great service, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere.
