We frequent Trattoria dell'Arte because it's easy and fun and it has a good antipasto! The varied menu has something for everybody - the grilled shrimp are always reliable. The wines are good enough and the pizza is yummy.The desserts look better than they are and can be skipped. It's perfect for a Sunday night which is when we went.

This was another great dinner at Trattoria del Arte. The service was skilled and fast: my dinner partner had to play a concert at Carnegie Hall across the street, so everything was brought in plenty of time. He had the tuna with lentils and said it was excellent (I have often had this dish and recommended it). I will be back the next time I am in the City. The pizza was sublime, and the osso buco very close.
Great food! I love the art in the restaurant.
This is our "go to" place whenever we are going to Carnegie Hall. The food is actually quite good, and they can get you out in time for a concert without feeling rushed.
The service and food were very good. We will return there.
If you get there on the early side (say 5:30), you'll enjoy at least an hour of relative quiet. The food is OK, and the waiters go out of their way to be pleasant. Not a bad place to have dinner before the theatre or a concert.
Really fine food and an excellent location. This is high end and truly fine.
