I've been to Trattoria Delarte over and over again, and it never disappoints. The food is fabulous. The service was amazing - this past weekend. we were allowed to sit and talk for hours after lunch service (after paying our bill so our poor server could go off service) , and they even sent us over some champagne when they saw how much fun we were having!

Trattoria Dell' Arte is justifiably known for excellently prepared and beautifully presented Italian style food, made from the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Customers may enjoy friendly bar service, and may also enjoy an anti-pasti bar with an extensive variety of very tasty anti-pasti. The menu is comprehensive and the service is cordial and attentive. Special requests are accommodated. The ambiance is casually elegant, and the location is ideal -- across 7th Avenue from Carnegie Hall and a few steps south of th... read more

We have been ther often and the food has always been outstanding. Our last visit was prior to a major event at the Met so it was unusually crowded. In spite of that the sevice was still pretty good. They make the most wonderful thin crust pizza I have ever eaten anywhere.

If you are in the Carnegie Hall area it is definitely a place for dinner. The menu is simple, but the food is wonderful. The service couldn't have been better.
