Staff was warm and welcoming and helpful, and not at all stuffy. Atmosphere is comfortable and informal - but in a classy, established way. We go every few years, and the food and service was of slightly lower quality this time (one guest did not get a salad they ordered, another was not thrilled with their entree), but my meal was terrific (red snapper with capers and fresh tomato sauce) and the desserts were terrific. Ask the staff for recommendations! We will be back -

Food was very good and the restaurant was very busy. The only draw back is he price. It was a little expensive for what you got.
Nice place, good food, good service
This is a very expensive New York City place but not to be missed if you want a look at NYC theatre goers. It's loud and crowded before the Carnegie Hall concerts, but a fun spot.
Trattoria dell' Arte is consistently good.
Wonderful lobster pizza! We asked for a window table when we reserved, but got a table in the back room instead (about as far away from a window as you could get). Probably the quietest place we could have gotten, but still very hard to conduct a conversation. Service was slow but the place was really packed so I can't really blame the server. Right across the street from Carnegie Hall.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The food, service and ambiance are always outstanding.
