Outstanding dinner on Christmas Day. Complementary Champagne just hit the spot.
Good location near City Center, Carnegie Hall. Went for dinner on Christmas night pre-concert so it was very busy because so many other nearby restaurants were closed. Service only adequate apparently due to crowd and holiday staffing -- probably better other times. Food was good but a little uneven -- best were antipasto choices; server did not make clear that there were special prices and plate sizes for 3 or 4 antipasto choices as opposed to full portions for different prices -- would have been willing to pay more for lar... read more
Always reliable for delicious food and attentive service.
The only problem was that the place was somewhat noisey, other than that the food was really great, etc.
Very nice restaurant with lots of friendly help. The holiday decor was beautiful.
Topan (I apologize for the spelling, he's from Bangladesh) was out waiter and he was the best EVER! Both my wife and I have been waiters so we know the business... he was efficient, VERY personable, made us feel like we were the only customers he had. Service good when finally seated. Was given 7:00PM reservation which was not honored. Waited for 20 minutes on a "cattle line" with 15 other people before a table became available.
A solid place that has endured and will continue to do so. Very consistent in the best possible way.
We had a delightful pre-theater dinner. The food and wine were excellent, and our waiter was as good as they get.
