Bait and switch. They quoted my daughter a lower rate for first two hours then charged her $249 per hour for five hours with no first two hour discount. This terrible company is nobody’s friend. They tried everything to stretch the length of time out so they could make more money. Big scammers, please avoid. SCAM SCAM SCAM
Shittiest, most unprofessional people I have ever met.
This was my first experience with paying a moving company. I was looking forward to saving my back and not having to guilt friends to help me. However, my experience with True Friends was not a good one. Movers arrived unprepared due to the company quoting over the phone, which caused delays and costs. It took 3 man team 11 hours to move a 3 bedroom house. Not only that but they lost hardware for fridge, beds, a train table, and dented the washer. The movers were great, but one of them was badly injured from the day before… which caused the move to be practically 2x longer than needed. In which they only took a half an hour off the bill….. administration and owners need better ethics and practice. Glad it’s done but sucks how they did things.
I really wanted to like this company. I had another moving company that backed out and couldn’t make my move and Chris called very timely after I had reached out and said he had a team available. I explained how my original company told me it was labor issues and didn’t show for my prior move, but said they would make me a priority the next day (Saturday).
