I really wanted to like this company. I had another moving company that backed out and couldn’t make my move and Chris called very timely after I had reached out and said he had a team available. I explained how my original company told me it was labor issues and didn’t show for my prior move, but said they would make me a priority the next day (Saturday). They did not provide an accurate estimate for our move to Dayton, OH and it left us owing them with no money to our names.
True Friends damaged and ruined several of our belongings while moving them: broke an entire box of mugs, broke a floor lamp, scuffed leather couches, cracked a second lamp, broke the leg off of a dresser, put gashes in our walls and door, scratched multiple pieces of furniture. They had a third party come to repair the dresser and gashes in the walls; however for the items that were not repairable, they offered us $63 and were unwilling to consider giving us more. Absolutely do not recommend. One of the gentlemen was great but the other was extremely lazy and made the job take double the time which meant double the money. There were several items he didn’t even attempt to try to pick up and move and my husband had to move majority of everything with the other gentleman! If that wasn’t enough, the one man who didn’t want to work then dropped our brand new washer off of the truck flat onto it’s face and destroyed it. The absolute worst freaking moving company ever. The only place they Used that wrap and furniture protection is in the ad pictures. They don’t use it in person. When their guys show up in slides and sweatpants hanging off their ass. Then wanna describe a space as “oh so as big as a jail cell?” THEN, when they do scratch your stuff with their Halfass workers, they’ll hire a halfass scratch corrections person. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Timothy, We just left you a message and was hoping to clear this up. Your deposit covers the 1st $100 of your move and it gets charged at the time of booking. Then on move day, you pay for the balance for the time that you needed/used. Hope that clears the billing up for you as we charge everyone the same way : )
RecommendedLee and his crew of four guys did an incredible job packing my home! Not one complaint. I even asked them to move boxes around a few times. Mad for their pricing. Get a few bids, and they will save you a ton of money on the quote. And once the job is completed, they reprice even lower to save you way beyond what the move should have cost! You'll be sorry! If you don't, call True Friends Moving.
… ***DON’T HIRE *** … So far I have found that the movers have stolen: 2 leather coats 1 North Face jacket 1 pair of Stuart Weitzman boots 1 Louis Vuitton clutch 1 pair Ugg boots 1 weighted blanket … and that is just the start of the list! Owner won’t respond, and “claims” informed me the items weren’t on the returned trucks … of course they weren’t!
Horrible experience!! They charge by the hour so the movers take their sweet time. A 1 bedroom apartment that was quoted for 2 hours took them 5 hours. Cost me double what I was quoted and I unloaded half the truck myself. Do not recommend!!
