Yelp needs a zero star rating for Trugreen. I prepaid for core aeration. More than a month later I had to demand they provide the service. I was very specific about removing the cores when I signed up. The sales guy said the machine automatically collects the cores and they haul it off. Well I have cores all over the place. Calling the "customer service" line is a long waiting game so you wonder why they call it service. Yes they are busy since it's spring but a company with any brains might prepare for the busy season...duh... read more

I agree with the reviews below about the management at the Acworth office. My husband had called constantly about the chemical not killing the spurge and another weed. Then, the tech finally came sprayed the yard again, we left town came home a week later and half of our front yard was completely dead. Husband called repeatedly asking to talk to management, never could get one and management never returned call. TruGreen has the absolute worst customer marketing practices of any company I have ever done business with. At one point, in a matter of 24 hours, I received 3 separate calls from various telemarketing reps at TruGreen trying to sell me on the same add on product. I could expect quarterly calls for a new product I "needed" and would get the same treatment of 2-3 follow up calls from different telemarketing reps offering the same service I previously declined. Oh, and my yard looks horrible.

Thought the original price was fair and thought I understood the scheduled visits...then they started coming out for additional visits that I didn't authorize and charged me for it. They loves to apologize but never did anything about it. I also felt like they did a poor job on my backyard. The front looked decent, no weeds but not very green. Management at this office is awful. When I called to speak to a manager about their lack of urgency/response they told me a manager will return the call in 2 business days! REALLY? Only thing that kept me from canceling is the actual tech that does care about his clients.

Around 8 months ago I decided to follow a sales pitch of a TruGreen employee and signed up for a 1/4 treatment plan to keep weeds out and fertilize my then perfect conditioned lawn. They recommended a aeration and I agreed. Since then the lawn is ruined and looks from months to months worse. I assume that their infested aerator machine implemented a disease in my always healthy lawn - it was the best lawn on the block, lush green and like an expensive carpet.
