We recently cancelled our TruGreen after 8 years of service. The first 6-1/2 years were great, but the last 1-1/2 years have been disastrous. When you call the local Acworth number, the is automatically directed to the national call center. I have ordered additional weed control call-backs (as allowed by our contract) and the service provider has never showed up. Now, our lawn large clumps of weeds and giant dead spots. Terrible service. I called to cancel my service and they came back and sent another bill. The third time I called they told me they had no record of me calling before. They make it impossible to cancel the service. They'll also push so much to sell the mosquito service that you'll want to throw your cellphone in the garbage.

The service they provide is not the best, after almost two years, I still have weeds...not to mention, this year already missed one visit which it did not help the seasonal weed controlling. And, they raised my service fee from $45.00 to $58.00 without any notification. Yes...no notification...When I called the customer service, I was told that they cannot help me to keep my rate the same but they sent a note with the bill that they are also raising my service fee for 3% after they already bumped up to $58.00. A friend recommended TruGreen as they are happy with their service. They live in the Stone Mtn. area. So I thought I would Google TruGreen and found all the horrible reviews here. I scrolled back a full year and they were all 1 star reviews with the exception of one review. I decided to drive to the office and ask someone face to face what the issue is and if they may have had some management changes recently that would convince me to use them. The Acworth TruGreen has the worst customer service I have experienced from any company recently and I would judge them incompetent at lawncare based on looking at my lawn that they have had in their service control for 5+ years. Free Money from me is over TruGreen.

Totally Miserable Experience All I wanted was to get my tiny (less than 1/3 acre) property aerated so my handyman could take care of the rest of the lawn care. I called Trugreen and made that perfectly clear. They attempted to sell me numerous plans, including a mosquito treatment plan to kill the mosquitoes I don't have. One of the worst lawn care Companies's ever! After buying a 1,400 package my lawn still looks like crap and beware they will add unauthorized services and charge you for it ! But never again ! Lesson learned and I hope this review helps other not to waste there money . I only wish I could rate them a zero

Please bypass this company! They tell you things on the phone and then document it differently. I had Scott's, then it became Trugreen. They spray your yards, tell you on your summary that the weeds will begin to die off- they do no such thing. My backyard was never sprayed and it didn't change when I brought it to their attention. They also have an option to do an in between spray if you do not see results. Requested quote, received verbal number. Thanked them and told them I would call back after receiving more quotes. She proceeded to tell me she could work with me if I had a budget. I asked for her best rate. She eventually hung up on me. I then get text messages from Jennifer asking if she could give me more quotes. Hey, give your best quote idiots and stop badgering your potential clients. I will never use TruGreen. Horrible customer service. Found a great service with no hassle at a very reasonable rate!
