I was a Trugreen customer for almost 20 years and their service was okay. We moved 3 months ago to a condo (no yard) and I cancelled the service. I get no less than 4 phone calls a week from sales reps trying to add new services to our old property despite my requests to have our name and phone number removed from their database. Is this how you treat a long, loyal, and good customer? Choose Trugreen and prepare to be harassed for life.

Just bad from beginning to end. Over a year later, several trips out, about $1000 total, and our yard looks exactly the same as it did before these idiots came along. Anytime they'd come by, they would avoid speaking to us at all costs, they just weren't friendly. We prepaid for a year but apparently we have to call them to cancel-it didn't automatically end our contract like they said it would. First, they don't do the work. Second, they will bill you for several times after never showing up. Third, they will schedule you for services without asking permission then bill you. Fourth, they will call you weekly to try and sell you their goods after you have asked several times to be removed from their call list. Absolute garbage service and people. How they are still in business is beyond me.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. They decided it was a good idea to aerate and seed my lawn during a thunder storm and hurricane. The completely destroyed my back yard then refused to even come out and look at the damage. Did not return my calls to a supervisor, did not acknowledge the photos I sent them and did not even put seed down but they found it acceptable to charge me 149.00 for the service. I am filing a BBB complaint as well. Stay far away from these folks.

Absolute TRASH and a SCAM of a company. Do not waste your time. They do marketing calls and after you NO to the service they will bill you anyways. The one and only time they came out to my property, after being billed for three times, the tech didn't do what he said on the service call receipt. How are they still in business.

I have experienced significant issues with Tru Green in getting service in Woodstock. After signing up they called me no less than 5 times saying I was scheduled for service and then no one showed up or called. Every time I called in they apologized and said it was a system glitch. Then the last time they told me my account was in an inactive status. Really? When I had it I thought fixed, they called this week and guess what....no one showed up or called. This is my second go around with TruGreen's Lawn service. Last year we had issues not with the applications but with the sales dept making commitments that the "auditing dept" would not honor. Since this puts the customer in a bad position forced to either accept higher fees than agreed to or forced to cancel the service. We cancelled! Since then we received numerous calls wanting a second chance, after approx. 6-10 calls I finally agreed to give them a second chance (vs my gut). Last year I hired TruGreen to perform an aeration and over seeding however they only performed the aeration. I wasn't happy because they never corrected the problem after being paid in full. A few months later they called and slick sales guy lowered their price to get me back as a customer. They then billed me the wrong rate for three services and after telling me they would bill be correctly never did. WOW! I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed up with Trugreen in Acworth, GA last year. I'm having the same problems as most of them. My lawn has gotten worse since signing up. I called to complain and cancel about my last service that turned my grass yellow. Customer service was very nice and credited my acct and gave me half off the next two services if I stayed on. BUT a manager was supposed to call me in 2 days and come evaluate my lawn on my schedule. Guess what? NEVER HAPPENED! I called back and the rep ... read more
