Packed full of so many items. Beautiful displays. Friendly staff. Big assortments in each department to choose from. However, the pastries in the bakery are not up to par. The cannolis are ok, skimpy filling, centers empty. The sfogliatelle was very overdone skimpy filling. The baba rum has a very watery tasteless unsweetened liquid poured over it. I'm sure they could do better on that item alone. I won't be getting pastries from there anymore. I line lots of things from there but I'm a bit fussy bout my Italian pastries
My family and i and friends have been shopping here for years, mainly on weekends. love the music and used to love the cheese samples-- until today. We noticed no more multiple cheese samples!! Just one type of cheese when for years, there were 3-4 cheeses at various tables. The guy at cheese section non chalantly said , 'oh- no more cheeses'. A very big disappointment. Pretty unfriendly too. There was also no more bread samples- not sure if permanent. Definitely wont be coming back as much. Sad

Been shopping here since it opened. Came in today and bought groceries which cost $343. Asked an assistant front end manager for help finding Marsala wine. "that kind of thing is in aisle 1" as she walked away. Asked another assistant manager who was speaking to the lady handing out free bacon. "Check aisle 1" before returning to speak with the bacon clerk. Then went to the actual custom service desk where assistant manager 3 said, "that stuff is in Aisle 1". I'm sorry to report that Uncle G has disappointed. Wife went in for italian hero, pastrami sub and eggplant hero. I' m going to have to show them how to do it right. Italian hero was not fresh and was made for a midget; pastrami sub also very small and dry as the sahara; eggplant was nothing to write home about. Taste not there. When you pay high prices for a prepared food you expect WOW. Below average grades on all three. I can do way better making my own and that is what I'm going to be doing AND saving some money.
Just bought the Italian meatballs, they hardly any flavor and were almost all bread crumbs. Left a meatball on the plate. Wouldn't buy again. 6 meatballs $22.00 not worth it, never again..
They advertise items and Never have them. Constantly being told the truck is coming. Go to their website to complain and they give you the run around also. This was the first day of the sale!!!!! Went two days in a row and nothing. Is it coming by pony express???? To me ,they put a sale item in the circular just to bring you in shop there. Their prices are much higher than their competitors. We left here underwhelmed yesterday, after always having an excellent experience with this store. This location was always a go-to for us for special ingredients, wonderful prepared foods, and other items you don't normally see elsewhere. Store remains clean and is certainly a unique place to shop. Staff are nice enough. Today we stopped in for some prepared foods. We purchased crab stuffed flounder and fried clams. Wow how this place has FALLEN OFF! This location used to be great up until maybe 2018/19. Quality of the food has gotten far more inconsistent and the cakes and dessert section as a whole has been awful. Dry and far from fresh desserts. Had gotten two different cakes in November and both were very dry and tasted terrible, also got cakes for Christmas and the same thing.
