I purchased two of Uncle Guiseppe's 'pot pies' on Sunday, 8/27/23. They were $8.99 each for meatball parm pot pie and an eggplant parm pot pie - and INEDIBLE!!! The pie crust was NOT pie crust, but some type of hard pasta-like substance - then the pie itself, two bites and I had to throw out. Total garbage, big waste of money and BIG disappoint. Didn't even want to give this rating one star - they don't deserve it. The music is way too loud, and the store is way too cold!

We spent a lot of money there and liked the quality. A title bit on the expensive side but ok. Everything is perfect Saturday and Sunday, however I went there Fridays at 5pm. It was a disgrace! Not enough staff, the fruits and vegetables were not restocked, but the most disgusting thing was the meat. The ground lamb was gray, one package had a ground lamb and a lamb burger on it. Went today for some dinner choices. Got some hot subs, sushi & the hot food bar. Very expensive and not at all worth it. Sushi was fine. The hot subs were so wet and mushy. The chicken parm I had some very questionable chunks of chicken in there. My son got some roast chicken veggies and potatoes from the bar. He barely put anything in the container it was $14, the chicken was dry and the potatoes were literally ice cold and hard. I hope Uncle Giuseppe's goes to chapter 11. She was working there in the delli dept. And she slipped on oil spilled on the floor never cleaned up and it all happened before she even made it to the union. She now has two twin ligaments in her wrists. Just had screws and bolts put in both arms thanks to Uncle Giuseppe's, she's going to be like this for a whole another year. Now I got to watch my mother suffer. Costs a lot of money food taste terrible and no bags. Pay a fortune to not get a bag,and the bag doesn't even cost a nickel it costs a lot more. It amazes me that people spend over 200 snd they won't give a bag for free. I'm hoping Whole Foods knocks them Out of business.

The store is a decent size and looks nice ... but that's kind of where it ends. First off, it's pretty expensive. If you shop at Whole Foods you'll be ok. If you're like me and do ShopRite and Walmart, be prepared for sticker shock. Their fresh mozzarella is ok. But I've also had still warm mozzarella from Shoprite that was just as good if not better. The refrigerated sauces are ok, but again pricey. We've done the diablo, marinara, and vodka. The meatballs from the prepared food section are ok. Not as soft as I exp... read more
