Their olive bread is v salty. Do not recommend. High salt content, low flavor content for the amount of salt
my wife lives and loves Uncle Giuseppe's. She is there a minimum of 3 times a week. Always happy. Last night she came home about as upset as I have ever seen here in regard to a customer service issue. A women in front of her ordered from the bakery. After she received her order the YOUNG man behind the counter SAW HER and just walked away to help a fellow employee stock something. She says she stood there over 10 minutes. So sad because I've been here 2x and really wanted to like this place but last week (3/9) I came here and purchased a 'Dinner for Two' Pasta a la mare with expiration date 3/12/18 but almost instantly experienced weird symptoms including fatigue, muscle aches, lightheadedness, leading into fever, on/off chills, nausea, loss of appetite. Funny because right before purchasing this, I was going to get another seafood 'dinner for 2' but caught that the expiration date for all of them were past already (3/7/18). Singer on Saturdays really how cheesy can you get? Stay away from all prepared foods unless you want the shits ! Seafood dept is probably the best thing this store has to offer, the meat department is highly over priced and the quality is sub par.
Was just at the UG in port jefferson station and they would not give me a free bag for my meat purchase I was charge five cents ..the law exempts meat from the law .. the manager need some customer service classes..

Over heard the manager tell one of his employees to make sure we don't go back into the store with our bags because we could put stuff in it. Smh prejudice
